- Responsible for Sales & Business Development of BMS/iBMS Solutions & driving offers of the Digital Buildings for Data Centre ( DC ) and Life Sciences (LS) segment Portfolio aligning with Company's EcoStruxure solution for all three layers.
- Drive development & Saturation of the Key Data Centre & Life Sciences Accounts / End Users in India through Innovative Solutions & Offers aligning with customer needs & Requirements.
- Promoting Company's EcoStruxure solutions for DC & LS Segment embracing technology to engage customers further.
- Role Involves close operational working relations with Regional & segment leaders for Solutions & Transactional Business.
- Deliver on Individual & team business plan with a focus on delivering for Business Financial concentrated around Orders, Margin, Collections.
- Work closely with the Solution Architects / Technical Marketing team to design develop the most suitable solutions for DC & LS customers, which derive all three layers of Company's EcoStruxure solution (Connected Product, Edge Control & Apps and Analytics) along with Sustainable journey.
- Drive the close working operations through the DC & LS prescription/ Segment leader team to develop strong prescription/ demand generation for the region along closing the loops of opportunities through targeted Customers.
- Market intelligence on industry on-going activities to know what changes may be on the horizon that will impact current and future business.
- Coordinate with Solution Architects locally as well as globally to derive POCs ( Proof of concept ) for targeted customers.
Qualifications - External
- Candidate must have 5-8 years of experience from IBMS, Fire and Safety related industry , sales background, preferably based in West region (Mumbai)
- Sales experience with a deep understanding of data centre/ life science market segment with a demonstrated track record of growing business.
- Thought leadership connect/presenting skills to key stakeholders / large groups
- Strong knowledge of HVAC Control Systems, PLC based SCADA, Energy Management , EMS and Power Solutions.
- Extensive understanding of iBMS, Energy automation, and data centre and life science specific technologies & Applications.
- A strong ability to understand complex requirements of the customers and able to clearly communicate Company's Innovative EcoStruxure solutions which enhance efficiency and sustainability.
- Broad experience in applying financial strategies with the client - Self-starter, strong analytical and high level of organization skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as negotiation and influencing skills in a multicultural & matrix environment - both with internal organizations' and within client organizations
- Strong ability to leverage social networking and alternative strategies to obtain and foster client networks within and around key clients
- Experience and skill in working via strategic alliance or mutual client engagements with customer/key accounts/partner
- Strong ability to leverage CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) to manage and drive a mixed portfolio of business
- Passionate, autonomous, entrepreneurial & team spirit-oriented
- Capability and desire to travel extensively
