We are hiring Senior Manager - RPA - Oil &amp; Gas sector for our client based out of Bangalore location. Refinery Planning : Strategy - Developing Refinery Model using Aspen PIMS software (Certified by ASPEN). - Preparing management Presentations &amp; Reports on Refinery Planning / configurations feasibility based on refinery economics and strategies. - Refinery Optimization &amp; economic feasibility studies. Optimize product blending to meet product specification of refinery. - Carry out blend studies for refinery upgradation &amp; specifications improvement. - Carry out Refinery - Petrochemical Integration studies for various refineries. - Developing and suggesting new projects, modifications &amp; expansions for Value Maximization of Refinery. - Interacting with technology licensors and Integrate new technologies in refinery configuration and suggest margin improvements. - Estimating Capital Cost of New Projects, GRM and IRR for Refineries. - Preparation of inquiry tender documents of refinery units, Reviewing Licensor Proposals &amp; Preparation of Technical evaluation reports &amp; recommendations. Basic Design Engineering : - Developing Process Design Basis based on scope of work, client requirements and site visits. - Preparing the basic design engineering package. Independently designed 9 process units right from the basic engineering to final stage which are operating successfully. - Preparation of Design Basis, PFD, H&amp;MB, P&amp;ID, Participation in KOM, PFD, P&amp;ID, BDEP Reviews. - Developing Process simulations using software's (PRO- II, Hysys, Aspen); - Reviewing enquiry documentation and scope of Work, performing pre-bid engineering &amp; providing required inputs for bid preparation. Detail Engineering : - Carrying out the detailing of process package, FEED package for revamp units. - Interacting with the vendors, suppliers, clients and deliberating the specifications. - Performing Equipment/Instrument sizing calculations. Flare network sizing, FLARENET - Generating Process Flow Diagrams, P&amp;IDs, Process data sheets, and other Process deliverables. - Devising Operating Manual and provide support during commissioning and performance run. - Planning HAZOP and other safety studies, provide process input and participate. - Updating the process package based on vendor inputs and As-built details. - Taking care of commissioning, pre commissioning &amp; troubleshooting activities for refinery units. Business Development Support : - Carry out conceptual engineering and Energy optimization studies in order to define engineering projects in terms of technical scope, costs, and execution strategy. - Interacting with various licensors, understanding new technologies and seeding new projects. - Prepared Conceptual feasibility reports on refinery integration with petrochemical complexes and new upcoming technologies like Catalytic Olefin Technology, PDH (Propane De-hydrogen nation), - Gasification, Bottom Upgradation Units. - Technical support to marketing team, Develop models for quick CAPEX estimations. Project Management : - Introducing new ideas; preparing project plans, scope of work &amp; technical specifications. - Planning the detailed engineering activities and finalising requirements - Performing Project Management Consultant (PMC) role for various units. - Working under close liaison with concerned Project Engineering Manager. - Provide input for the development of the Planning Package and project progress reporting. - Monitoring and controlling man-hours to ensure job is finished within budgeted man-hours.
