Senior Manager - Regional Financial Planning & Analysis - BFSI

Main Responsibilities

- Coordinate the Group's monthly reporting process with all businesses.

- Understand and communicate performance on different businesses and co-ordinate the monthly review with the businesses to understanding the variances to budgets and forecast.

- Prepare monthly CFO reports to Group together with forecasting and other ad hoc requests.

- Lead the format and information to be reported on a monthly basis and on Quarterly Business Reviews, ensuring that all areas of material risk are covered.

- Understand in detail and be able to explain quality of earnings of the different regions

- Lead changes in the Group financial processes to optimise month end cycle and reduce the days required to close of the accounts to best practice levels

- Work with the different business in strengthening the month end reporting processes to increase quality and integrity of the numbers reported

- Support as required in the improvement of the financial processes of the Group

- Take a leading role supporting the Group's compliance with its financial controls framework

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Formal education: Degree Level desirable

Technical education: Full accounting qualification (first time passes)

- Formal financial accounting qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent

- Extensive post qualification experience in a similar role in a large listed group (FTSE 250) or large multinational, with proven track record in this technical field

- Experience in reviewing businesses performance against budget and forecast with the management team providing a robust and healthy challenge

- Experience in preparing performance reports for Group Executive teams

- Experience in finance transformation activities

- Experience in reducing the month end timetable in global organizations

- Experience in strengthening a range of financial processes and controls

- Experience of ERP systems and group reporting tools, preferable BPC
