Sr Manager- Quality

Primary Purpose of the Role: To supply consistent Quality Product by maintaining all the quality standards and protocols

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

- Monitoring, maintaining and improvement of the plant Quality Assurance results & activities

- Enhance Quality culture in Plant

- Implementation and reviewing systems that include all the elements of VPO / FSMS / GFSI / PRP

- Conformance of specification of the finished goods leaving the plant

- Handle consumer concerns related to product integrity, with the consumer response department.

- To make availability, issue of raw & packaging material & product specifications.

- Evaluate the performance of RM and PM

- For selection, coaching, feedback & development of Quality Assurance personnel.

- To document, implement and monitor a quality assurance system in accordance with the VPO

- For developing SOP, authorizing and auditing the supplies of ingredients, auxiliary material and chemicals

- For implementation of Crisis Management system.

- Implementation of GMP, HK & pest-control activities in the plant.

- For developing FSSAI and legal Metrology assessment, accountability program & implement in coordination with local regulatory authorities

- For implementation of an effective internal audit & for production identification and traceability.

- For all type of communication regarding quality and legal aspects with company corporate and other related depts.

Key Authorities:

- Stop and fix Process or operations if any parameter is observed out of specification

- Verify any document / record with respect to VPO / FSMS / GFSI / PRP

- Submission of regulatory & statutory requirement of Legal Metrology, FSSAI etc.

- Purchase of lab requirements as per organizations guidelines. Prepare Quality Opex & capex budget

Key Requirement:

- Keeping decisions firm, Coordinate with dept. for implementation of SOPs, Policies to ensure Quality & food safety of products

- Trains and motivates employees to ensure that quality standards are met.

Key Relationship:

Internal - Quality Director, Plant Director, Plant All teams

External - All Stake holders at BU Head Office, All RM / PM Supplier, Related Govt Authorities
