Head - Quality Assurance (Jamnagar Location) We have an urgent requirement of Head Quality Assurance Position with one of the well known company in Jamnagar. Job Title: Head - Quality Assurance Reports to: Operations Director Does this job have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Number of reports: 10 - 20 approximately. Region of reports: Jamnagar Position Summary : As Head Quality Assurance you will be responsible for the quality assurance system, in terms of day-to-day quality management as well as in terms of developing and implementing the strategy and improvement initiatives. Roles and Responsibilities: - Support and advise the management, and the production team in all quality aspects - Perform and manage internal as well as external audits - Monitor the quality control from incoming to outgoing goods - KPI management: ensure that key quality KPI's are measured, recorded, trended and reported to the plant and management. - Handle supplier and customer complaints, and manage preventive and corrective actions - Initiate and manage quality improvement projects - Keep the quality manual, procedures and work instructions up-to-date in line with customer and legal demands. - Assure the implementation of the quality processes. - Management and Leadership: promote quality best practices within the organization by positively reinforcing the company's quality ethics and encouraging business process excellence. - Collaborate with other departments (Production, Engineering, Planning/Supply Chain, Maintenance, Safety, HR, .) Skills & Abilities Required: - Good knowledge of various manufacturing process-Sheet Metal, Press shop, Machine shop, Forging, Paint shop, Pressure Die Casting, Electroplating, and Lacquer. 5/13/2022 2 (2) - Working Knowledge and Hand on Exp. on Core Tool, 5S, Kaizen etc. - Proficient in English Communication skills (Writing /Speaking) - Leadership Skill - Good Analytical skill - Quick decision maker Education Qualification & Experience required - Engineering Graduate
