Sr. Manager Purchasing - Transport  LOCATION Bangalore  Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:  - Drive Pan INDIA /regional supply strategies for XXX's IT business across all the Geographies for the Transport category  a) Purchasing & Contracting of Transportation, Warehousing & Logistics services.  - Procurement Services: Conduct activities like RFP/RFQ, offer receipt, Evaluation of Vendor Packages, Techno-commercial evaluation, Benchmarking, Negotiation, Finalization of order, contracting strategy, release purchase order/work order etc.  - Improve and maintain stakeholder relationships across the organization and collaborate cross functionally e.g. with Finance.  - Leverage the spend and deliver annual savings through negotiations and innovative supply strategies   - Empanel in best in class suppliers in services procurement area and manage Supplier Relationships.  - Negotiate contracts and ensure XXX's interest are protected in the market place  - Develop & analyze various options and present alternative solutions to sourcing needs.  - Able to do internal process mapping and develop improvement plans.  - Responsible for supplier relationship & performance management, Partner with the business leadership & clients to enable short and long term strategies  - Ensure all the strategies and subsequent procurement are done in accordance with the procurement policy  - Ability to learn new technologies and able to do change management effectively  - Conduct RFPs to determine the right supplier and ensure the best overall value is obtained for the company  - Exposure to STP, SEZ and customs requirements/compliance.  - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & procurement tools like ARIBA etc.  Qualification/Experience:  Minimum Graduate (in any stream) Candidate with 15~18 years of Purchasing experience with reputed companies and who has handled large scale (say ~ 25000+) People transportation category of an organization   Skills Required:  - Strategic Sourcing expertise for People Transportation  - Category knowledge  - Contract Management  - Good Analytical skills  - Supply chain systems/tools knowledge  - Stakeholder Management  - SAP MM  - Good written and oral communication skills  - Ability to learn new things.
