Senior Manager - Public Affairs & Communication - FMCG Consumer Personal Care Major

Functional Profile:

Responsible as zonal resource for Corporate Affairs aimed at building credible engagement with govt. and connected agencies to achieve long term corporate objectives in west zone states.

Lead policy and regulatory changes and build credible relationship with Sr .Policy makers.

Build reputation and perceptive stance / understanding amongst the govt. stakeholders and advocating best practices within the policy landscape.

Address issues arising out of administrative & structural barriers created by govt, industry and environment.

Facilitate the business in ensuring licensing approvals including sensitive pricing decisions in various states and cross feed major risk indicators to business with changes in external environment factors.

Business intelligence and inputs of industry approach, and strategic relationship with Industry association.

Carve out public affairs programs intending at peer community and groups and control corporate social responsibility programs for west zone states.

Responsible for driving strategic media relations programs and public spokesman on need basis.

Lead Advocacy plan to persuade different states Finance and Revenue stakeholders including political portfolio and senior bureaucracy to relook at the bringing better reforms to the proposed Good and Services Tax(GST) by including the negative list within the purview of GST

Demonstrate strategic thinking through collaborative management and support to state Business and Finance managers with skills required to drive operational engagement with various stakeholders on govt. compliances .

Candidate Requirement :

From - FMCG / PHARMA / CHEMICAL / PROCESS INDUSTRY

Any Post Graduate Preferred

" Should have undertaken Projects in Water Management / Water Preservation programmes "

From : Public Relations / Government Relations / Public Affairs / Journalist with a reputed News Organization, Media Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility an added advantage.
