Education: Post Graduate or Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 8 to 10 years experience in Production, Planning and Control in manufacturing areas of couplers, rotating equipment, gearboxes

Age Group: 32 to 37 years

Job Description (Duties & Responsibilities):

Required competencies :

- Production systems / Just In Time / Lean Manufacturing / Kanban system, 2-bin system / 6 Sigma / 5S / Kaizen / VSM, ISO 9001 / ISO 14000, Poka-Yoke / Fool Proof, Navision / SAP, Problem solving ability/Strategic thinking, Leadership - Team Handling and people Management

- Provide leadership to departments under control. Coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions in operative purchase function

- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development. Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance. Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery

- Work closely with all stake holders to translate strategy into specific annual performance goals and departmental objectives including department and Organisational KPIs
