Sporjo - A One stop shop for assessment, training and job support to pursue careers in sports management is looking for a Sr. Manager - Product & Technology, to join their dynamic team (Remote). To join the team, you should: - Have at a minimum, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT/Systems Engineering or other related qualifications. - Possess strong interpersonal communication - verbal and written. - Have 7+ years overall (5 years of relevant experience, 2-3 years of leading a team). - Be Creative, commercial and pragmatic approach to technology and product delivery. - Possess an ability to work in an entrepreneurial boutique environment with a strong collegiate culture. - Have an ethos to develop the team and empower them to make the right decisions at every level. As a Sr. Manager - Product & Technology, you will: Overall : - Deliver technology and design implementation of all new and existing products with agility and highest quality. - Set the product road map tied to the organisations' strategy working collaboratively with other Heads of Departments. - Set up the Technology and Product vertical - team and relevant processes. - Manage partner vendors (technology and/or design and/or analytics etc). - Constant improvement of UI/UX to world class standards. - Translate business requirements to products and features with the target market at the centre. - Manage budgets and resources and check on time resolution of technology/product issues. - Develop individuals in the team for outcomes. - Auditing content, compliance with regulations and maintaining the integrity of the website/products Functional skills : - Strong planning and project management skills - especially Agile delivery. - Proficiency and experience with Software delivery life cycle - Ability to create a product roadmap - mentor and lead the product management team. - Delivering through technology vendors. - Devise and implement robust test plans for all products Technical skills : - Expert knowledge of Macromedia suite, Adobe suite, Content Management Systems, and W3C Web standards. - Highly proficient in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, MySQL. .NET and JavaScript. - A good understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay Per Click (PPC). - Working knowledge of cyber security and data protection. - Working knowledge of CRM systems and Payment gateways will be an asset. - Working knowledge of Cloud services (AWS, Google etc.) Other skills : - Mentoring and leading teams, internal and external - creating a harmonious, delivery oriented culture. - Excellent time management to deliver concurrent multiple priorities in a fast start-up environment. - Paying attention to detail while keeping the larger strategy in mind
