We have an urgent opening in Delhi / Gurgaon for a Top Telecom.

This is at Sr. Mgr level,

Purpose of the Job

1) To Drive the development of cloud Services for the target market segments and geographies with clear go to market plans

2) To Measure, monitor and manage the service performance and value proposition throughout the life cycle

Deliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities)

- Strong understanding of cloud and security methodologies, use-cases, workflows and tool-sets.

- Solid understanding of Security as a Software products and solutions, scale-out architectural concepts, and cloud technology stack

- Strong experience of delivering cloud-based enterprise solutions

- Solid understanding of cloud operational requirements

- Solid understanding of enterprise security needs and environments

- Strong leadership skills working across distributed teams

- Demonstrable experience of working with UX & design teams

- Deep knowledge of software security products

- Ability to drive timely execution of product development to specification in the agile development process.

- Ability to work collaboratively across business, operations and engineering teams to identify, define and prioritize requirements.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate both technical and business related aspects

- BA/BS in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience, MBA preferred.

- 8+ years senior product management experience in IT or related industry, with 3+ years in SaaS/Cloud Product Management

- Ability to work collaboratively across teams to identify, define and gain commitment

Additional Qualifications

- Experience managing SaaS/cloud products from inception

- Experience driving back-office process integration with cloud for provisioning and billing.

Major Challenges :

1) Provide operational advice, support and technical expertise in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of the customer's network infrastructure.

2) Identify business opportunities (sales, optimisation and cost reductions) in the customer's environment and work closely with the Solutions Consultant to design and execute solutions that add value to the customer's business.

3) Use Incident and Problem Management techniques to drive technical resolver groups in the resolution, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions to ensure that network performance levels are met and exceeded and customer expectations are managed.

4) Provide E2E technical management, leadership and direction to internal service and technical representatives on the development, operation and maintenance of the customers- services infrastructure

Major Challenges :

1) Working within a cross functional team environment, comprised of a number of diverse roles with a mix of pre-sales and post sales focus, to ensure that the customer sees a cohesive, customer-focused and high value E2E technical and solution management team.

2) Because of the high revenue's and nature of the customers technology solutions managed at this level, this role will consistently be managing internal resolver groups, conflicting priorities and operating in complex and demanding operational environments that demand tight timelines and budgetary constraints;

3) Ability to stay abreast of emerging telco/ICT products both within India and across the industry, and reading and interpreting the evolving technical needs of the market.

4) Managing conflicting high impact incidents concurrently across multiple customers;

5) Initiate and manage projects as required to achieve technical solution optimisation and performance for customers whilst maintaining commercial integrity of the account;

6) Represent customer technical requirements into the business and translate same into technology based solutions; Translate proposed technical solutions into customer benefits to senior and customer management; and manage multiple internal and external providers to manage delivery of agreed technology outcomes;

7) Drive third parties to meet and exceed technical solution outcomes

Decision level

Prime: Final Decision Making authority, accountable to the Management

1) You will be responsible for identifying and specifying the core platform elements, balancing reusability with time to market and working with teams lead to ensure their suitability and adoption.

2) The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their experience in building cloud platforms for global scale, operational efficiency and accelerate time to market for individual products

3) Solution Design recommendations, including on-net optimisation opportunities

4) Solution change management approval - must consult with Solutions Architect on major change.

5) Small Project pricing per DoA.

6) Cloud E2E Delivery

7) In conjunction with SDM, third party performance management, SLA credits, recommendations for changes to underpinning contracts

8) In consultation with SDM, third party disengagement where required;

9) Approval of customer technical changes within DoA

Shared: Decisions reached jointly with peers on a collective basis

1) Approval of Contract variations affecting revenue or margin

2) Approval to pay contract abatements

3) Project Proposals outside DoA

Changes to customer technical solution

Contributory: Makes a major contribution to a decision or policy judgment reached by others
