Senior Manager - Product Manager - CleanTech Startup

Role:

- We are seeking a Product Manager to join our core Product team. You'll work closely with PMs, engineers, designers, partnerships, and marketing teams to develop and support our product experience on the growing universe of connected devices. You- ll drive strategy, feature development, and implementation on home automation products, battery systems and cross-platform integrations via SDKs on apps like Tuya.

- You need to be self-sufficient, patient, and blend technical requirements with personality and support. You will help define and facilitate experiments and features, large and small, to drive engagement and retention the right way - delivering a personal, delightful experience to our customers while maintaining and driving healthy and beneficial relationships that get us into the hands of more users on more devices.

This is a central role and will cover pan India scope. There will be multiple level of direct and indirect reporting.

Responsibilities:

1) Strategic Alliances & Partner Management

a) Manage alliances with key brands to develop long term mutually beneficial relationships for co-marketing

b) General admin & IT - responsible for all admin, IT requirements

c) Legal & Compliance - take care of all necessary compliance and legal aspects working along with the central legal teams

2) Customer Excellence through product development

a) New Product Development- project manage new product development end to end and handhold for the first few months

b) Work with operations, sales and marketing teams to offer customer oriented solutions

c) Analyse data to proactively predict the trend and take appropriate course correction accordingly

3) Decision-Making Skills

a) The buck stops with you. Whether it is dealing with employees, customers, top executives or vendors, you will have to make decisions that affect the company. Having the ability to make hard and fast decisions is crucial to your success

Preferred Candidate profile:

1) MBA is good to have, but not absolute necessity

2) Engineering with good academic background is preferred

3) 2+ years of experience in project/product management roles

4) Having experience in engineering industries

5) Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking

6) Needs to be entrepreneurial with a strong self drive
