Senior Manager - Product Development - Consumer Durable

- New Product Development / Localization.

- Supervise and ensure timely completion of the project by managing the process of developing a product or enhancing existing products to meet organizations expectations effectively.

- Conceptualize product development process to work on approved Product Brief / approved product design.

- Liaison with inhouse manufacturing facility or external manufacturers/vendors to carry out such development.

- Prepare product development proposal including planning, project costing and timelines of the new product with supplier.

- Ensure testing, verification and validating of the newly developed product under both pre and post commercial production stage.

- Drive the process of scouting of supplier to prototyping to sampling stage and finally handover the project to commercial teams.

- Product Management/ Process Improvement & to bring cost effectiveness in all the Products.

- Liaison with Designers, technology manufacturers, consultants and Manage smooth commissioning of the product development by coordinating between the company and the consultants or technology providers.

- Supervise plant commissioning and technology enhancement.

- Review designs and supervise onsite commissioning activities such as technology adaptation/ enhancement, plant and machinery installation, Production process layouting.

- Scheduling and coordinating the activities in a manner that meets to tight deadlines.

- Ensuring that equipment works to its specification and productivity.

- Creating and carrying out test procedures at the inception stage.

- Investigating problems and diagnosing and troubleshooting in coordination with technology providers. 

 - Prepare Product tracker for Management approval.
