Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction for the product application and R&D departments, aligning efforts with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement long-term plans for product innovation and development.
2. Product Application:
- Oversee and optimize the application of refractory products in various industrial settings.
- Lead a team of application engineers to ensure successful implementation of products at client sites.
- Work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and provide tailored solutions.
3. Research & Development:
- Drive the research and development agenda, focusing on the continuous improvement of existing products and the development of new, innovative solutions.
- Manage R&D projects, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful and timely completion.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to guide R&D efforts.
4. Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure the highest standards for our refractory products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
5. Team Leadership:
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professionals in the product application and R&D departments.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the teams.
Qualification:
1. Education:
- Minimum of a Master's degree in Materials Science, Ceramic Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is preferred.
2. Experience:
- At least 8-10 years of senior-level management experience in a refractory company or a related industry.
- Proven track record of success in product application and research & development.
3. Technical Skills:
- Deep technical knowledge of refractory materials and their applications.
- Familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes and technologies.
4. Leadership Skills:
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
5. Communication:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
