By looking through the vast amount of structured and unstructured data to identify patterns, draw inferences and predict outcomes, we intend to enhance the delivery quality, operations & risk management capability in client engagements leading to enhanced profitability, revenue & client satisfaction.

- We are looking for a Machine Learning programmer to join our team to develop predictive analytics solutions that address the given business need. The successful candidate will be proficient in programming, especially for data management and using machine learning algorithms. He / She will collaborate with the business teams, technical & functional teams, and vendor partners to understand the needs and develop solutions.

Role Machine Learning Programmer

Key Responsibilities - Explore & discover the information hidden in structured and unstructured data by applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems

- Identifying the right Machine Learning and Analytics techniques & toolsets to address a variety of predictive analytics problems

- An individual contributor discovering, designing and developing analytical methods to support novel approaches of data and information processing

- Working with functional & technical teams to develop, pilot & optimize tools and models using Machine Learning & Natural Language Processing

Qualifications & Skills - Academic qualification in statistics, computer science, machine-learning or related fields

- An avid programmer, keen to explore and solve difficult problems

- 1 to 5 years of data mining (structured / unstructured) & Machine learning experience, with an ability to design and develop solutions across ML landscape (supervised, un-supervised, semi-supervised etc.)

- Proficient in a variety of Exploratory Data Analysis and Data handling techniques

- Good understanding of algorithms such as Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, SVM and Random Forests

- Proficient in R or Python

- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

- Data visualization tools such as D3.js, GGplot, etc.

- NLP toolkits such as Stanford suite, Python NLTK, Apache OpenNLP

- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical ability

- Team player and a self-starter; good collaboration skills

- Excellent oral & written communication skills, with ability to explain machine learning concepts and findings or techniques to varied stakeholders
