JD for Senior Manager/Practice Head:
The position exists in order to
- Be accountable for analytics Processes execution, transformation, business growth and governance
- Transform an - analysis organization - to high end - analytics organization- i.e. moving up the value chain.
- Create Analytics product offering for Maersk Line and going forward for entire APMM group.
- Drives Process Design, Process Improvements and Migrations for Analytics
- Accountable for ensuring value add from the Analytics practice including taking analytics to advanced level across verticals and provide proactive pointers to business problems
- Play significant role to ensure Organisation change, culture & capability are implemented.
- Develop world class analytics business offering to LB for leveraging data and analysis to bring transformational change positive effecting Income, Cost and Customer experience
- Drive transformation of analytics to match strategic & tactical business goal (Revenue, cost & CSAT).
- Deliver continuous improvements through Standardization & Improving process capability.
- Ensure implementation of Industry benchmark methodology for attaining excellence in execution.
- Ensure analytical muscle power to GSC based process owners of various functions to assist transformation
- Accountable for EES results, control attrition & turnover of team.
Education & Relevant Experience:
- Masters in Statistics/Economics, Engineers, MBA with minimum of 8 + years Industry experience
- Relevant experience of advanced SAS, R reporting/SQL/VB, etc would be preferred
- People Management
Technical Knowledge:
- Quantitative/Business analysis, Information Systems, or related activities
- BI Tools (Business Objects and Data Mining)
- Statistical tools (SAS, SPSS, R etc.)
- MS Office Packages

- Academic (Mathematics, Optimisation programming, Statistics, Analytics)
- Business: Marketing & Sales analytics, Customer analytics, Experience with Logistics/ Transportation industry, Customer segmentation
