Our client is a new age digital-first bank focused on the financial inclusion through technological innovations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Responsible for managing all payment related services, ensuring delivery of payment related projects, partnering, and responding to internal and external compliance oversight requests.

- Manage the payment processing function and supporting business metrics and indicators for a best-in-class payments service.

- Supervise, schedule, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities of the Payment services department staff to meet workload and scheduling needs of the department.

- Recruiting, training, coaching, performance monitoring, performance evaluations and discipline of payment services staff as needed to fulfil the goals of the Department.

Directly lead a team of payment operations managers and Serve as the escalation point for payment issues, and work closely with the payments and front-line teams to quickly resolve issues

- Manage Processing of NEFT/RTGS, NACH, CTS and DD processing and Payment Channels reconciliation

- Identify, justify, and support new projects related to the overall improvement of Payments Operations, serving as a key stakeholder for all aspects of Payments project life cycle (design, development, testing and implementation)

Educational Qualification and Experience level :

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree/PG, and or equivalent industry experience.

Experience: 15+years related payment operations experience.

Technical competencies :

- In depth knowledge of all relevant banking and regulatory rules and policies related to payment operations.

- Expertise in electronic payment processing including current industry processing models and future industry strategies.

- Ability to analyse, assess, design, and adjust process flow for payment operations and the related quality and efficiency impacts.

- Ability to develop new policies and procedures in response to, and in anticipation of, changes in the business and regulatory environment.

- Forms strong relationships to influence support for proposed business solutions and ideas

BAU activities :

- Responsible for RTGS/NEFT, payment product smooth processing, Reconciliation, Transaction posting, Payment products Settlement entry, FD pay-outs, Interest pay out, FRMS daily control, cybercrime related to FRMS, 101 closures proceeds and transfer, Clearing activities, NACH process, death claim process, insurance fund transfers.
