Responsibilities:


- Strong procurement process and concept understanding including strategic sourcing, sourcing execution, commercial and contract negotiations for complex global indirect categories


- Good knowledge of Ariba Sourcing Module, Ariba Contract Management is a plus


- SAP Certification of Business Product Owner is a plus


- Expertise in auctions and all other types of events


- Proven ability to manage a large number of complex stakeholders.


- Proven knowledge and understanding of requirements to successfully establish a global Delivery centre for procurement


- Ability to identify and escalate roadblocks, risks and issues in a timely and effective manner.


- Exceptional people management skills


- Ability to manage shifting priorities


- Senior Leadership Team exposure


- Strong understanding of performance management industry standards and tools


- Strong analytics skills and understanding of data interpretation and associated tools


- Strong understanding of financial performance models. Advanced Analytics qualifications/experience are a plus


- Project Management experience or certification is a plus


- Good exposure in previous roles to multi-cultural, multi-functional environment


- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills


- Ability to effectively motivate and lead a matrix managed team.


- Demonstrated experience in managing moderate value direct spends (Direct Materials).


- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, sourcing execution, commercial and contract negotiations for complex global direct categories.


- Strong experience in using tools like Ariba or other equivalent sourcing execution technology.


- Demonstrated experience in managing and execution of multi market projects with consideration to diverse business needs and regulation (eg taxes, law, regulations


Requirements:


- 9-15 years of experience in managing procurement teams to drive performance and value and categories strategies execution is required, stakeholder management and supplier relationship management


- 10 to 15 years experience in an operations management role in proc shared service centre, captive centre or capability centre; working with team members across all levels of an organisation.
