Key Responsibilities and Tasks :
- The optimization of the website to maximize conversion and hit projected passenger and revenue targets each season.
- Analysis of visitor behavior to inform development priorities and multi-variant tests aimed at improving conversion rates.
- Working closely with the digital agency to ensure the accuracy of website analytics and reporting performance appropriately to the business.
- Recommending and managing user experience improvements based on best practice and testing data.
- Owning the SEO performance of the website. Liaising with the digital agency to deliver technical amendments, monitor and improve the natural positions and build a strong link profile.
- Responsibility for web development work from a customer and commercial performance perspective.
- Ensuring any developments improve customer experience and have customer use at their heart.
- Working closely with the Sales and Marketing Director and Website Manager to shape the web development strategy based on commercial upside and deliver developments to budget to schedule.
- Work with the Content managers and Brand manager to ensure best in class content is delivered in the best possible way by the site and the site remains on-brand as the key communication channel.
- Expertise in TV Broadcast, New Initiatives, E-Commerce, Alliances, Payment Solutions, and Communication & Brand Management, Internet, TV-Home Shopping and Telecom VAS/ VOICE; Proficient at managing large multi-cultural teams across functions.
- Creating Association with various marketplace like - Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon
- Brand marketing at various online channels
- Listing and catalog management
- Analysis of online retail business and revenues through different strategies
- Developing business alliances and brand tie ups with various e-commerce web sites
- Ensuring conversion on the web site through attractive promotional strategies
- Working with the Web team to deliver rich quality of user experience to the site visitors.
- Increasing brand visibility through various programs
- Excellent communication, creative and interpersonal skills. Actively partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as key stakeholders, PR, creative, national advertising, go-to-market and individual campaign teams to ensure a consistent message and focus across platforms.
- Build organization capability (team and knowledge) to create India's best and most effective customer acquisition programs. A great understanding and a strong interest in the retail/e-Commerce sector, brand awareness and retail trends.
Personal Profile :
- Graduated from IIT /IIM (Bschool)
- 6+ yrs. of experience preferably in Retail Industry
- Previous experience heading a team in Ecommerce
