Role purpose:

- Is responsible for managing teams that deliver Network Operations First Line activities on radio and fixed access, Core, transmission, value added services, IP, fixed and mobile backbone domains in an international environment, for multiple countries in the European Vodafone Op Co's from the Group Network Operations Centre.

- Leads proactive incident management activities, root cause identification, correlation, dispatch, troubleshooting, tracking, follow up and escalation with internal and external partners across multiple countries in order to establish the fastest possible resolution to any incident. Drives preventive incident initiatives to reduce incident occurrence.

- Ensures SLA compliance, and upholds and continuously improves quality management and network availability and performance expectations.

- Supports incident resolution, notification and builds post incident reports and improvement plans in case of major network or tool incidents.

- Ensures the business continuity plan is in place and in line with business evolution.

- Drives and enables cross-functional alignment and harmonisation of tools and respective KPIs for operational excellence, leading to one common set of quality standards across Europe.

- Builds and manages the relationship with stakeholders across multiple functions and countries.

- Manages additional service migrations from the OpCo's into the function, acting as key contact between the transitioning entity and the Network Operations team and prepares organisational readiness in line with defined timelines and budget.

- Assures appropriate staffing, within approved headcount and budget, maintains high levels of team engagement in very demanding environment, ensures people development, defines,and constantly improves process and procedures. Accountable for the successful completion of team objectives.

- Drives organisation transformation, via automation, AI, digitalisation, and efficiency increase with local OpCo teams, external partners, Engineering and Digital & OSS teams, while maintain high level of Network performances and quality of services towards Local Market

- Define the strategic and operational objectives
