Role : The role is created to provide support the M&A Leader to strategize initiatives, conduct primary and secondary research, support deal origination, gain intelligence on targets, provide end to end transaction support in evaluation, closure of a deal, integration management to achieve planned targets and manage divestment initiatives
Job description :
- Research of market segments and demonstrate domain expertise to map all the key players and their business.
- Establish processes to gain intelligence through various channels to understand the shareholding of market players and their forward plans.
- Shortlist and target the desired profiles based on the defined strategic fitment criteria's.
- Support deal sourcing efforts of the Mergers & Acquisitions team.
- Coordinate with Business Heads, Cross Functional Teams to evaluate the prioritized targets globally.
- Provide end to end transaction support for short-listed targets to evaluate through a rigorous and systematic due diligence approach, create business plans and integration plans, and organize funding, innovatively structure, tax planning, support negotiations and closure of deals globally.
- Support managing every step of the project till closure of the transaction managing all internal and external stakeholder requirements in the desired timeline.
- Make presentations to senior leadership of internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop Integration plan to achieve target synergies and manage risks based on due diligence findings.
- Support deployment of integration plan to achieve target synergies and investment metrics for 2 years.
- Manage multiple global projects in parallel and divestment initiatives if necessary.
Desired Skills and Experience :
- 7+ years experience with financial advisory firms (KPMG, E&Y, Deloitte, PWC, Grant Thornton etc) or an Investment bank.
- Experience in transaction support and global deal making.
- Experience in BPO sector is preferable but not a must
- MBA from a premier institute/ Chartered Accountant. CPA or CFA qualification is desirable.
