Manager - Senior Master Data Management - Finance

MANDATORY :

- This would be a pure Master Data Management / Master Data Governance role in finance.

- IC role with multiple stakeholder reporting.

- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

- SAP is a must

- CA / ICWA / MBA Finance / B. Com / M. Com

- Working knowledge of Financials, Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Cost management, understanding of Accounting ledgers, Profit Centre Accounting. Detail transaction accounting.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

- This position is responsible for developing and managing the global finance data policies, standards and processes in collaboration with relevant global stakeholders.

- The position leads the efforts to implement and monitor data policies across the function ensuring high quality and available data and provides daily oversight and strategy execution of the data governance and data quality framework.

- Help to formalize Data Policies and Standards (Central Finance stream to lead this)

- Establish data policies, standards, guidelines and procedures across the finance function

- Define the frameworks for data quality, controls, issue management, metadata management, change management and reference and master data management.

- Develop and deliver data governance program training and awareness materials.

- Drive implementation Data Policies and Standards

- Operationalize data policies, standards, guidelines and procedures, quality monitoring tools and controls

- Data quality management

- Metadata management

- Change management processes for data

- Data issue intake, escalation and resolution

- Governance of operational procedures.

- Maintain, periodically review and recommend changes/improvements to US Region data policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.

- Provide Ongoing Support Data Operating Model this includes design and implement strategies to monitor ongoing compliance with and effectiveness of data policies, standards, guidelines and procedures

Functional Competency : Solution Design and Project Delivery

- Around 10 years of experience in a major services organization, with large-scale data or project management and oversight experience.

- Should have working knowledge on SAP & other SAP Modules

Leadership Competency : Stakeholder Management (Internal & External), Change Management
