Senior Manager - Business Planning & Consumer Insight
Purpose of the Job :
To Plan and track key Business indicators (including Revenue elements, Market & Competition intelligence and Network Planning) aimed at ensuring business hygiene, providing right direction to the product team towards designing consumer value proposition and generating a feedback mechanism on any revenue related deviations.
Deliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities) :
- Analyze Revenue and Marketing data to help the businesses to achieve the Targeted Revenue & IRMS
- Revenue Forecasting
- Revenue Tracking & Revenue Analysis
- Product Portfolio control & rationalization
- Market and Competitive Intelligence
- Network Planning & Optimization
- Ensure compliance of Marketing Processes
Major Challenges :
- The key challenge in this role is to effectively manage the diverse data requirements and associated analytics. Given the nature of Telecom business and the amount of multi-dimensional data possibilities, it is very easy to end up devoting energy and resources in fruitless & non value adding work and analysis.
- The severity of this challenge is accentuated even more because of the paucity of human resources available in the function.
- The key to overcoming this challenge is establishing a robust KPI monitoring mechanism wherein we delve deep and generate insight only in areas where the trend is different from the norm. Essentially, the prioritization mechanism needs to be very robust.
