- To lead the brand marketing strategy - the short-term and long-term thinking with annual marketing plans for the titles, increasing brand equity, recall and sales amongst the target audience.
- To own the brand signature properties/events and ensure seamless working within the cross functional teams for planning, conceptualizing and executing the events
- Create and execute marketing plans and support ad sales with sponsorship proposals and revenue management for the properties
- To oversee all consumer brand communication initiatives across media such as print, digital, outdoor, online, TV, radio, cinemas
- To lead the A&P budget on an ongoing basis
- To oversee key research initiatives to develop a stronger understanding of the categories, initiatives and the brands.
- To provide Ad Sales with relevant support for developing and maintaining relationships with advertisers including development and execution of all trade marketing related collateral
- To lead the marketing team, including resource allocation, appraisals and cross functional working
- Lead the thinking and execution on new business initiatives or line extensions, working with the editors and publishers and their teams.
- Work across the organisation with editors and editorial team and publishers and the sale teams and outside the organisation with key clients.
