As a Senior Marketing Manager, you are expected to develop marketing strategies and ensure campaigns are mapped to personas with a clear view of the customers journey from start to finish, reporting on ROI and spend. Utilize insights from research to identify new business opportunities, evaluate existing marketing programs to determine areas needing improvement, overseeing the performance of marketing staff, managing budgets and schedules, and delegating tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create marketing campaigns including pricing strategies, sales promotions, and public relations efforts. Build great brands by ensuring that all brand activities are aligned with the Brand Essence and Vision. Ensures that our communication team is integrated and that all our partners are aligned.

- Manage the inbound marketing strategy and execution across digital channels including website, social media properties, etc. Develop segment specific strategies for product categories under you.

- Gather/Analyze relevant market data (consumer, competitive economic, positioning, distribution, channels, trends advertising) and translate into SWOT Analysis for future brand plans.

- Develop key selling messages to incorporate into collateral and other external communications.

- Oversee budget development, management and tracking for all programs.

- Collaborate with different stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of strategic marketing plans including defining success criteria, proactively reviewing reports that measure the effectiveness of initiatives, and identifying areas of improvement where required.

- Report on progress across goals and relevant cross marketing metrics to leadership team.

- Creative turnover - as the marketing manager you'll be responsible for producing creative briefs for the creative team and weighing in on the routing process to keep creative aligned with marketing strategy.

- Create opportunities for team collaborations. Be able to partner up, down and across the organisation with minimal guidance.

- Provide leadership in terms of coaching, mentorship, guidance to the marketing team which consists of members within social media and influencer marketing verticals.

- Build a performance based marketing team by defining goals and ensuring that the team meets them.

- Oversee and guide the process of building metrics across marketing channels to measure effectiveness and ROI across strategies implemented.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience managing teams and leaders of teams with demonstrated ability to set direction, coach,

mentor, and provide constructive criticism in a team setting and one-on-one.

- In depth knowledge of social media platforms is a must.

- Ability to collect and analyze data to arrive at actionable insights.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and drive strategy execution.

- Experience managing marketing budgets.

- Individuals with agency background preferred.
