Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective communication strategies that helps establish the organisation as the go-to place for the subject services
Social Media : - Create marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including content ideation and implementation schedules
- Manage all social media properties of the organisation to ensure they are optimised and updated regularly
- Manage the organisation's Facebook groups
- Track social media trends, see what's working and what's not for the organisation and report the same to the leadership team
Email Marketing : - Create and send the organisation's weekly and monthly newsletters in a timely manner
- Create outreach plans for regular communication with the stakeholders
Website : - Maintain content on the organisation's website and blog
- Create an editorial calendar and implement the same with new and original content
- Ensure that different sections of the the organisation blog are updated regularly
- Write for the organisation's blog when required
Events & Conferences : - Project manage the organisation's regular events (webinars, workshops, conferences)
- Create and execute the event promotion strategy and play an active part in organizing the events
- Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors and PR agency (be POC for all external stakeholders)
- Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all marketing materials
- Liaison with the PR team to create informative and interesting press releases, press kits, and related marketing materials
- Work with different departments to generate new ideas and strategies
- Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner
Essential Skills :- 1-4 years experience in a similar role
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of Content Writing, Social Media, and Events
- Experience with working on Wordpress CMS, MailChimp, Zoho is a plus
- Experienced with Google AdWords + Analytics
- Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.
- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Start-up experience preferred
