The incumbent will be responsible for development and coordination of marketing strategy in the organization leading to market/business development, Product development and driving growth in a company through multi-pronged initiatives in the areas of marketing, Marketing communication & branding and Channel management.
Marketing:
- Formulate and implement Marketing strategies
- Collection of Market information & its analysis,
- Collection of Industrywide segmented data including segment-wise growth and analysis,
- New product identification and introduction based on the above
- Plan and implement Marketing seminars, customer meets and exhibitions,
- Business Development, Driving market intelligence program to monitor competitive activities and evolve countermeasures
- Formulate pricing policy based on internal policy and analysis of competitor pricing (Pricing intelligence)
- Implement the value proposition by defining
- unique selling points-, market positioning, target customer groups and distribution channels.
- Effectively market product and service portfolio to existing and potential customers.
Communication & Branding:
- Formulate Product promotion strategy
- Create Long-term strategic direction for product development
- Corporate brand-building initiatives
- Managing and enhancing current brand health parameters
Channel Management:
- Marketing mapping & opportunity analysis in communication with the sales teams,
- Channel Management,
- Use market research, dealer and customer surveys and other forms of feedback to anticipate and identify improvements aimed at enhancing the product and service portfolio.
- Development of vibrant and modern channel with Management of channel communications, channel conflicts, and channel MIS systems.
- Channel Relationship building initiatives
- Propagation of modern IT practices on order logging, delivery, and tracking for the channel, including new product development, new product launches, customer support & after-sales services
Computer Literacy: MS Office and Lotus Notes, exposure to ERP systems like SAP is desirable

- Understanding of market dynamics in Asia Pacific countries particularly India
- Ability to network with internal as well as external stakeholders
- Sound collaboration skills with ability to influence others
- Drive to independently lead initiatives while collaborating with key stakeholders
- Sound managerial ability and business acumen
- Good Communication skills (Written and Oral) particularly English communication is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel based on requirements
Education:
BE (Ceramic/Metallurgical Engineering ) OR Btech and/or Masters of Business Administration preferably in Marketing from Tier 1 Colleges; Computer Literacy: MS Office and Lotus Notes, exposure to ERP systems like SAP is desirable
