Job Title: Senior Market Research Manager

Pay range: 25 to 30 LPA (depending upon experience)

We seek a Senior Market Research Manager who can build an entire Marketing, Business Development, and Client Servicing team for Deepak Chemtex Pvt Ltd (DCL). DCL is a leading manufacturer of dyes such as colorants used in food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, confectionery, feeds and jet inks. We are looking for candidates based at Chennai or are willing to relocate near the corporate office based at Nungambakkam, Chennai - 600 034 to work in a work-from-office set up.

Requirements:

- An ideal candidate for this role is expected to be from the Dyestuff Industry who is currently servicing on exports as their key role.

- Candidate having experience working with reputed large scale dye manufacturing industry will be preferred.

- A minimum of 8 to 10 years of professional experience in similar industry involving market research, execution and reporting is key.

- Candidates with strong technical research skills - qualitative or quantitative or a mix will be preferred.

- A postgraduate in marketing or other relevant degree will be preferred.

- An experienced presenter who will be able to create winning proposals.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills who can actively contribute for creating web/blog content.

- A leader who can build a team, coach, mentor and manage junior team members.

- A positive commercial attitude and proactive networking ability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading and project managing new product commissions

- Planning and executing sales/business development strategies to achieve targets

- Responding to enquiries and requests for proposals.

- Building relationships with new and existing client base to encourage repeat purchase

- Coaching and developing junior staff to acquire/improve their primary skills and mentoring other team members.

- Contributing to the management regarding company-wide initiatives

- Managing freelance researchers.
