Senior Manager - Marine Underwriting - General Insurance

We are looking for Senior Manager - Marine Underwriting in a leading General Insurance company.

Location - Mumbai-Andheri

CTC - Upto 14 LPA

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Working as SBU head for precuring Marine business through Broker/Agents/Banca Channel for Mumbai Zone.

- Responsible for maintaining a profitable growth for marine lines of business for Mumbai Zone.

- Underwriting complex risks and providing tailor made solutions for corporate.

- Arrange Facultative Reinsurance to maximize the business while ensuring effective risk transfer.

- Burning cost analysis of cargo level data and implementing criteria for selection of risks to underwrite profitable business.

- Risk evaluation and adequate pricing of marine proposals.

- Negotiating with clients and brokers for finalization of policies.

- Customizing coverages to suit business needs and requirements due to changing global environment and trade practices.

- Keeping checks to identify any potential exposure due to compliance and sanctions regulations.
