Location : Mumbai  Reporting Authority : Head - Revenue Strategy & Planning  Primary responsibility:  - Market/Client Research : Have Intelligence on the 3Cs: Categories, Clients, and Competition. What are they doing - where are they moving- Mine through industry reports, trends, articles to know plans of our key clients and categories. Create, maintain and strategies based on key verticals such as Auto, BFSI, Technology etc to help understand the vertical behaviour, trends, movements etc that may have impact on business. Craft specific strategies for each subset of the vertical.  - Pricing : Devise Pricing packages which will help the organisation to achieve its Revenue targets. Pricing needs to balance out the organisation growth ambitions & market reality. Also, Keep a check on final negotiated price for each deal & flag deals to the leadership team where as per our judgement are under prized.  - Sales review & Support : Do an analysis & present to management on how our channels are performing vis-a-vis competition channels (revenue, volume, rates, clients etc). Share research, planning and sector knowledge to sales team and equip them with ammunition so that they can handle queries from clients and media planners/buyers with confidence.  - Branded Content Ideation/Proposal : Work together with the branded content team & conceptualize/ideate on interesting ideas on branded content that would greatly benefit the client.  Key Requirements: (atleast 3 out of 4 requirements should match)  - Good academic background: BE +MBA from top institute  - Working in a client facing strategic role for a substantial part of his career   - Work experience 5-9 years in the core sector post MBA (ideally we want someone with 7-8 yrs experience, can look for 5 years if the candidate is really good - If it's a CV from a media planning-agency/media-audit company, we are looking at a minimum 7-8 yrs+ experience from a leading agency (Associate Director/Director level & not Managers).
