The Senior Manager/Manager - Packaging is accountable for leading a multi disciplinary and Multi technology Packaging lines and Packaging team. The role is accountable for the overall performance of all Packaging processes and people within the boundaries of Packaging at ARPL - LVMP & SVMP. Packaging Processes within boundary include packaging, material and asset utilization, support, inventory in process and supplied to next supply chain customer under Made to Order and Made to Supply.  - Responsible for complete oversight of Packaging Operations in Oral Solid Dose.  - Deliver productivity across all Packaging lines, compliance adherence and service targets in line with the supply chain strategy and deliverables   - Collaborate with Validation Department in Qualification/Validation of equipment and Packaging Processes.   - Create a culture of continuous performance improvement and team working within the operations   - Identify and resolve issues impacting performance of the packaging process   - Lead in investigations by collaborating with Operations Support team. Develop Root Cause and CAPA determination  - Ensure appropriate staffing and develop skills and competencies within the team;  - Make decisions on priorities and management of unplanned events.  - The role shall have strong Leadership Track record with ability to foster high levels of ownership, Accountability and technical competency across span of control.   - The role will have experience in managing cGMP compliance needs, deployment of Quality Management Systems and relation with external auditors and Regulators.   - Lead 0-3 month supply planning and decisions for products impacted by the Packaging within the Product Supply Teams. Ensure capacity and capability is in place to meet demand.  - The role collaborates with key functions in site, in particular with the GSO Product Supply and Manufacturing Managers in order to resolve issues, optimize business performance and develop future improvement opportunities.  - The role is part of the Manufacturing and Packaging Managers group for the site and is expected to actively participate in site decisions and strategic planning.  - While strong technical skills are important, the role demands more emphasis on excellent leadership and business/financial acumen.
