Designation : Senior Manager / Manager - Material Management ( Purchasing ) Job location : Goa Industry : Packaging OR SPM industry exp is added advantage Job Description : - Head of Procurement function - Leading and guiding a team of 8+ people - Defining strategies to meet the goals set by the organization - Ensuring on time delivery of ordered parts - Coordinating with internal departments to bring any clarity required by team members - Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services - Internal audit - Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies - Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements - Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs Qualifications : - BE - Mechanical, with more than 15 years proven working experience as a procurement manager, or head of procurement in an engineering industry - Talent in negotiations and networking - Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software - Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers - Experience in collecting and analyzing data - Strong project management and leadership capabilities - Knowledge of automation products and manufacturing processes of machined, fabricated parts with different surface treatments
