Job Description:
As the Senior Manager (Lead - Talent Management), you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent within our organization. You will play a key role in shaping our talent acquisition, development, and retention programs to support our business objectives and drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for key positions within the organization.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions that attract qualified candidates.
- Implement innovative sourcing techniques to build a pipeline of diverse candidates.
- Oversee the selection process, including resume screening, interviewing, and candidate assessments.
2. Talent Development:
- Design and implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our employees.
- Identify training needs through performance evaluations, skills assessments, and feedback mechanisms.
- Partner with department heads to create individual development plans and career paths for high-potential employees.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
3. Performance Management:
- Develop and implement performance management processes to set clear expectations, provide feedback, and assess employee performance.
- Collaborate with managers to conduct regular performance reviews and goal-setting sessions.
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement and provide coaching and support to employees as needed.
- Implement recognition and rewards programs to motivate and engage employees.
4. Succession Planning:
- Lead succession planning efforts to identify and develop future leaders within the organization.
- Identify key positions and talent gaps, and develop plans to fill critical roles through internal promotions and talent development initiatives.
- Work closely with senior leadership to assess leadership potential and readiness.
5. Employee Engagement:
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive work culture.
- Conduct surveys and analyze feedback to measure employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement strategies to improve employee morale, teamwork, and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree preferred.
- 15-20 years of experience in talent management, HR, or related roles, with [10] years of experience specifically in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful talent management strategies.
- Strong knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, including sourcing, selection, and onboarding.
- Experience designing and delivering training and development programs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Certification in HR or talent management (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRCI-SPHR) is a plus.
