Effectively participate in the Internal Audit function to add value to all business divisions by providing an independent, cost effective and efficient internal audit.   Key Responsibilities:  Internal Audit Program  - Independently execute audit assignments and supervise internal audit operations including planning, resource allocation and overall quality of deliverables, processes and completion of projects within budgeted timelines and costs.  - Ensure compliance with the audit methodology, quality and standardization of the outputs including the audit reports and findings.  - Ensures the audit scope is focused on the relevant area(s) of the business. Review audit team findings, provide feedback on the findings and additional areas to be analysed.  - Coordinate work with various functions, business divisions and within Internal Audit team.  - Ensure that the internal audit activity maintains its independence and objectivity.  - Provide insights and recommendations on improvements to the key stakeholders in the business.  - Communicate the results of assignments through written reports and presentations on a timely basis to the business divisions, CIA and senior management.  Issue tracking:  - Follow through on implementation of audit recommendations within timelines & escalate overdue issues pending implementation.  - Tracking the resolution of actionables through Action Taken Reports (ATRs). Interacts with senior management to ensure commitment on a timely basis.  Risk Assessment and Controls  - Conduct risk assessments, identify control gaps, suggest mitigation and opportunities for improvement.   - Analyse and conclude on effectiveness and efficiency of control environment.  Leadership and teamwork  - Assist Head Internal Audit in preparation of annual audit plan and calendar.   - Identify new audit areas, develop and improve audit methodology and tools.  - Proactively deliver insights and share knowledge.  - Support quick and efficient integration of new employees by training on the job.   - Develop and engage team through individual contacts and group meetings.  - Involvement in the identification of objectives of IA team members,performance reviews, feedback and development plan.  Audit Committee  - Preparation of the audit committee papers  - Ensure compliance with Audit Committee Terms of Reference.  Networking   - Build strong working relationship with the Business teams and IT to effectively execute audit.  - Manage stakeholders maximizing their understanding and support of the audits to be closed.  - Business Partnering role with clear understanding of business processes.  Understand the major inter dependencies between financial and other IT systems from an audit perspective.  Lead special projects   - Undertake special projects, ad-hoc audits, project reviews, fraud investigations or similar on request  Knowledge:  Maintain awareness of professional and technical developments like auditing and accounting standards, in addition to various statutes and regulations and external factors affecting IA, its systems and controls. Good understanding of business operations. Good working knowledge of SAP modules.Excellent capabilities in MS Excel and Power point.   Skills:  Excellent oral and written communication skills. Sound understanding of the basics of project management and good analytical skills. Ability to build and develop relationships at all levels. Maintain the highest standards of ethics and integrity.   Education:  CA with 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in a large audit firm and work experience in industry.
