Senior Manager/Manager - Compliance/Business Practice _Pharmaceuticals


- Our Organization looking for an independent Business Compliance professional with a strong background in business practices and policies relevant to the pharmaceutical industry to ensure consistent and effective compliance standards based in India office.

- The Business Practices Manager will be responsible for the implementation and enforcement of a local compliance framework, closely working with Legal & Compliance and other internal functions. You will provide guidance to business stakeholders of our Human Health Sales & Marketing organization on Code of Practice, Policies and Healthcare Professional (HCP) interactions and facilitate/support face-to-face compliance training to employees. In collaboration with the Country Compliance Committee and Country Leadership Team, you will provide operational leadership and support to compliance programs

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to :

- Enhance awareness on our Company's Values and Standards, Corporate Policies and Compliance Policies, SOPs and Guidance;

- Coordinate and support Country Compliance Committee including developing agendas, tracking compliance scorecard, and follow up on action items;

- Ensure consistent and effective compliance standards; update local policies, procedures and standards based on new and revised global standards.

- Communicate and train employees on new and revised compliance standards;

- Supporting the implementation and operation of tracking /monitoring systems (e.g. Pulse, ABC, Hiperos);

- Implement and manage a process to maintain and update policies and procedures ;

- Developing, implementing and coordinating certification processes for Compliance matters (e.g. International Congress Sponsorships)

- Identifying trends and issues that represent significant risk to the Company and working with the Compliance Committee and other stakeholders to identify and implement remediation actions as required;

- Manage and support regular self-audits of e.g. HCP interactions and documentation / reporting of results.

- Coordinate and Contribute to the PULSE review activities;

- Facilitating/supporting face-to-face compliance training to India employees, keeping a log of all compliance training provided;

- Facilitate, coordinate and support the annual risk assessment processes:

- Facilitate, coordinate Country Grants Committee;

- Supporting management to ensure that audit remediation actions are implemented timely;

- Share best practices with the Legal and Compliance community.

Qualifications :

Integrity : Demonstrates behavior consistent with high integrity and strong values.

Communications and Influence : Be able to influence all levels of management across diverse business areas and be an excellent communicator.

Problem Solving : Be able to evaluate a wide variety of business activities and apply analytical and problem solving skills that enable the business consistent with policies and compliance requirements.

Project Management : Excellent organizational and project management skills to manage and oversee the timely implementation of Compliance projects and activities.

Regulatory and Legal Knowledge : In depth knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the core elements of an effective compliance program including relevant laws and regulations related to sales and marketing, in particular, relevant anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws is preferred.

Preference :

- Minimum 7 years of Healthcare industry experience or Audit, Finance, Compliance, Legal, or comparable business experience.

- Strong collaboration and influencing skills with cross-functional teams and leaders.

- Project management experience

- Strong analytical skills and ability to assess potential risks.

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
