Sr. Manager/Manager - Business Development
Job Summary :
- Developing and executing end-to-end Sales/ Business Development/ Merchant Acquisition strategy.
- Coordinating with multiple teams - Risk & Operations, Customer Support, Tech, etc., to enable a smooth payment processing experience for the merchant.

Key Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the Product & Marketing teams to develop and implement go-to-market strategy.
- Develop and introduce new product offerings to the market together with Customer Support, Marketing, Product, and Tech teams.
- Initiate, structure, and negotiate with prospective customers (merchants) for high impact partnerships.
- Develop strategies for lead generation.
- Develop & effectively manage sales/ business development pipeline.
- Understand needs of different customer segments and identify potential opportunities.
- Identifying potential customers and market opportunities for the organisation.
- Establishing a rapport, Negotiating and Acquiring new Merchants/ resellers.
The successful applicant :
- 6+ years of experience in a business development role & a proven track record of driving results through negotiation.
- Good understanding of the Payments ecosystem - Cross Border Payments preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Prior experience in Merchant Acquisition space/ Payments/ Fintech is preferred.
