Senior Manager/Manager - Accounts - Manufacturing

- Account reconciliation and analysis : Prepaid Expenses, Deposits, Accrued Expenses, Investments, Capital Leases, Members Equity, Inter-company balances

- Journal Entries including maintenance of recurring journal entries and allocations

- Coordinate the monthly book close

- Supervise the Accounts Payable Supervisor

- Plan, coordinate and execute annual financial audit

- Assist in the compilation of information for the Company's annual tax returns

- Develop and implement policies and procedures with emphasis on internal controls

- Special projects as required

- Exposure towards Handling Statutory Assessments.

- General responsibility for supervising the accounting procedures of the company.

- Responsible for directing and coordinating the work of a number of accounting associates in all aspects of accounting including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

- Preparation & validation of financial statements like Balance Sheet & Trial Balance statements and various detailed analyses like ratio analysis.

- Ensure maintenance of detailed fixed asset lists.

- Finalization of books of accounts with internal & external auditors & also handling queries related to it.

- Disbursement of payment by budget across units.

- Responsible for daily cash management reporting.

- Monthly comparison of budget vs actual in co-ordination with Finance.

- Preparation & deployment of accounts policy, processes & creation manual to ensure Account governance.

- MIS of tangible & intangible assets & liabilities like stock, debtors, creditors etc.

- Decision making /direction with/without the help of consultant to ensure statutory compliance.

- Responsible for SBU wise costing, product costing, profitability analysis of all products.

Competencies :

- Strong people management skills

- Good command of both oral and written English. Fluency in local language (Gujarathi) desirable.

- Professional confidence of being able to do work independently (For e.g.- finalize financial statements like Balance Sheet & Trial Balance independently).

- Exposure in implementation of costing module in SAP

- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.

- Skills on various software tools, such as Excel spread sheet, SAP systems are must.

- Experience with operations in a manufacturing set-up is a plus.

- Proven Supervisory experience.

Education : BCOM, MCOM/CA/ICWA preferred. Candidate with inter - CA/ICWA will also be considered
