Job Description - An opportunity to lead logistics operations for a leading premium brand in the building materials space.

Client Details

Our client is a MNC into premium interior solutions, with strong presence across multiple sectors- health care, education and corporates. Its a legacy brand thriving for the last 100+ years and is known for its design aesthetics and high quality. They are looking at recruiting a Head of Logistics, based out of their office in Delhi NCR.

Description

Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for:

- Leading the department end to end across logistics, transportation, distribution, warehousing and import/exports.

- Controlling Costs across transportation, warehousing, ocean freights, damages & insurance

- Improving customer experience and Operational Efficiency of the company

- Liaising with the local and global teams for managing imports

- Leading a team of professionals and be responsible for their development in the organisation

Profile

You will be a professional with around 10 years of experience in logistics, transportation & distribution from a similar industry (imports & domestic distribution). Prior exposure to building materials is preferred. The client is looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability of liaising extensively with senior stakeholders.
