Senior Manager - Lighting Quality - MNC Company - Mumbai

Position Objective :

The key objective of this position is to Supervise and Manage overall Q.A. activities across PAN India Supplier's base of Lighting BU with a view to ensure LED (Trade / Professional / Smart Street lights) Products quality from all OEM / ODM suppliers.

Handle overall New Product Quality Reviews, OEM / ODM Suppliers development, Field complaint management & Quality performance as prescribed by Company QMS.

Responsibility :

1. Understanding Company Quality standards (Lighting mfg Process / Product) and lead the Quality team to improve processes and product quality for Lighting BU through strong coordination with cross functional team.

2. Responsible for Overall Lighting OEM / ODM Suppliers development and Quality management through regular process and product audits as per Panasonic Quality Standards.

3. Responsible for Design review of new LED products and ensure dispatch clearances through validation as per standard, legal and Panasonic safety standard and exhibit leadership role in driving Technical Regulation.

4. Responsible for reducing Q loss and field complaints resolution within set timelines.

5. Manage overall Lighting laboratory establishment and NABL certification activities.

6. Support BU to analyse and promote counter measures for Critical Quality issues (Customer complaints) to reduce Q loss.

7. Responsible for Supplier's performance quality monitoring on monthly basis and promote quality improvement projects across Lighting suppliers.

8. Drive QCC culture across suppliers for improvement in product and process quality rejections / losses.
