Senior Manager - Legal - Telecom/Media

Job Description

- Drafting and reviewing agreements with Broadcasters and Cable operators.

- Providing legal backend support and advice to the various departments including preparing various advisory notes and reports.

- Setting up systems and enforcing compliance of various laws and statutory requirements reducing exposure to the company.

- Contractual support including drafting and vetting legal contracts with domestic / international parties.

- Contracts include JV's, inter company / intra-company agreements, technology transfer agreements, shareholders agreements, barter agreements, agreements for marketing, sales of both products and programmes.

- Taking pre-emptive steps to protect the IP of the company including registration of domain names and registration and protection of various logos, names, titles and slogans of the Company / group companies / serials under the Trademark and Copyrights Act or under various applicable trade bodies.

- Preparing project reports, response and applications to be submitted to the Ministry I&B, TRAI and other relevant trade bodies.

Skill:

- Legal Management Vetting Law Drafting Agreements Sales Trademark Contracts Technology Transfer Project Reports.

- Ability to resolve legal issues quickly and creatively while integrating legal, compliance and business objectives

- Must be well versed with all litigation & Non Litigation, Regulatory, Intellectual Property.
