Senior Manager - Legal - Retail

- Drafting agreements like Development, Sale, Lease, Leave & License etc. & Statutory/ Regulatory Compliance Management

- Support the leasing/projects/center operation teams by providing expert advice on legal & regulatory matters, ensuring total compliance, or during material breach of non-negotiable terms

- Maintain strong & consistent legal compliance record for projects thus ensuring no penalty clauses are invoked against the company

- Support the project team in negotiations with project contractor/suppliers, and by reviewing the documentation of contracts/POs

- Drive legal negotiations with inline/vanilla clients & ensure the process of lease negotiations with all tenants is as per the defined process

- Register final agreement document; compliance of all legal documents; resolution of any legal issue or escalation; submission of documents to external stakeholders/regulatory authorities

- Vet termination notices to be sent to retailers & review replies to legal notices received
