Senior Manager - Legal - Corporate Advisory - For Commodity Exchange
Qualification: LL.B/LL.M
Salary: 10-15 lacs p.a
Job Summary:
looking for a candidate with 8-10 yrs of exp who has a primary corporate advisory profile in the legal team

Job Responsibilities:
- Draft various legal documents both internal and External including petitions, plaints, legal documents, agreements, legal notices etc.
- Draft Opinions for internal stake holders covering Securities Law, Company Law, Taxation, CrpC and CPC.
- Managing People
- Assist in matters before the Police and Other Authorities.
- Ensure that the MIS reports are prepared and are duly vetted for consistency
- Negotiate technical and Commercial agreements, Knowledge of Domestic and International laws.Drafting and vetting technical agreements would be an advantage
- Review/Draft Rules, Bye laws & Regulations and their respective amendments in line with policy changes or regulatory directives and examining regulatory directives to ascertain the requirement of amendments to Rule, Bye laws & Regulations
- Attend to any criminal matter that may arise during the course of the Exchange operations as may be required.
- Provide necessary support and information with respect to due diligence etc. from Third Party
- Handle all HR related legal agreements and other claims and correspondence affecting policy and system.
- Legal vetting of new products and processes.
- Ensure compliances to correspondence from Statutory authorities
- Vet documentation (manuals and SOPs) relating to new systems and processes being introduced in/by the Exchange.
- Carry out due diligence for filing and processes in the Legal Department.
- Ensure that responsibilities of the Legal Department are complied with in a time bound manner.
- Any other work as may be assigned by Head - Legal
Requirement:
- University Degree in Law (Post Graduation Preferred) with Specialization in Commercial Laws
- 8 to 10 years post qualification experience with at least 6 years in Legal Department of a Large Corporate handling Corporate advising
- Strong working knowledge of Securities Laws.
- Knowledge of Corporate Laws
- Ability to network within the legal community
- Knowledge of functioning and business of Exchange
- Legal writing skills
- Good command over English Language
- Working Knowledge of key financial Sector laws, Food Laws and other related laws which has a bearing on Exchange Business
- Team management experience
