Senior Manager - Legal & Compliance - LLB/LLM/CS

Job Title: Senior Manager - Legal & Compliance

Location - Gurgaon

Reporting To - Board of Directors

Qualifications - LLB/LLM, Company Secretary will be added advantage.

Experience - Minimum 4 years of corporate experience, online industry knowledge will be added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and Manage the Legal and Secretarial function for India.

2. Advising the business on all potential business risks and potential disputes with third parties.

3. Corporate Law Compliance.

4. Handling of FEMA Compliances (Filing of FCGPR/FCTRS/Fund Intimation-FIRC -KYC).

5. Drafting /Vetting of various deeds, letters, notices, re-joiners, MOUs,vendor contracts, agreements and other required documents.

6. Handling Intellectual Property issues and consumer litigation for the Company.

7. Drafting of Web policies viz, Terms of use, Privacy Policy - PCI -DSS Compliance etc;

8. Working with the finance department and auditors for all regulatory reporting requirements.

9. Attending to litigation issues and working to settle disputes as well as avoiding or reducing litigation costs

10. Documentation, Compliance and Legal management of Capital raise for India and Foreign investors.

1. Excellent communication, negotiation, drafting and technical skills with ability to build positive rapport with various business/sales teams and peers, a team player with the ability to work autonomously.

2. Impeccable time management skills (manage multiple matters at the same time) and a motivated and proactive individual who provides solutions along with closing legal and compliance matters promptly.
