We are looking for a SM - Engineering Lead ( EV) for our client with pan India presence based at Gurgaon.

Responsibilities :
1. EV Charging Infrastructure Expertise:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of EV charging infrastructure, including various hardware and software protocols.
- Stay up to date with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices related to EV charging infrastructure.
- Evaluate and recommend suitable charging hardware, including charging stations, power distribution units, communication systems, and associated software.
2. Technical Project Management:
- Take ownership of charging infrastructure projects from handover to completion, ensuring technical feasibility and adherence to specifications.
- Develop detailed project plans, including engineering designs, resource allocation, and technical timelines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including site acquisition, planning, design, procurement, deployment, and IT, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify technical risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
3. Layout Design and Safety Compliance:
- Utilize technical expertise to design charging infrastructure layouts that optimize efficiency and accommodate site constraints.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations in the design and construction phases.
- Review and approve layout plans, electrical schematics, and construction drawings.
4. Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Procurement:
- Collaborate with procurement teams to prepare accurate and comprehensive BOQs, considering technical specifications and requirements.
- Ensure accurate capex investment and budget projection for the investment proposal.
- Coordinate with SCM team to ensure timely procurement and delivery of LT and HT (Low and High Tension) electrical equipment and materials.
5. Construction and Vendor Management:
- Oversee construction activities to ensure technical compliance, quality workmanship, and adherence to project specifications.
- Manage relationships with cross functional teams and vendors, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect construction progress, verify compliance, and provide technical guidance.
6. Technical Solution for Fleet Customers:
- Analyze fleet customer requirements and assess technical feasibility for charging infrastructure implementation.
- Design and propose tailored technical solutions that meet the demands of fleet customers, considering charging capacity, power distribution, and scalability.
- Collaborate with fleet customers and internal teams to address technical concerns, provide recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
7. Maintenance Protocol Development:
- Identify and develop comprehensive maintenance protocols and schedules for charging infrastructure.
- Establish preventive maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and longevity of charging equipment.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to implement and monitor maintenance activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades
