Senior Manager - Java/J2EE Architect - BFS

One of our client a leading Captive IT Setup is looking for Java/J2EE Architect in BFS space.

Years of Experience: 13 to 16 years

Work Location: Bangalore

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Design and architect actionable solutions

- Support the product roadmap, the creation and active management of multi-year architecture roadmap

- Review, identify, and recommend opportunities to optimize, consolidate, simplify & streamline the software

- Exposure to several software development methodologies such as Waterfall, RUP and Agile.

- Eager to grow to the role of thought leader and gain visibility in the software community.

- Able to articulate the business value of technology.

- Recommend software platforms and frameworks for building cross product assets to optimize for flexibility, long-term viability, and time to market

- Actively engage with vendors influencing their architecture roadmaps, technology direction,

Desired Skills

- Should have minimum 10+ years of total experience, minimum 5+ years as an architect

- Should have good understanding of banking domain is a must

- Expertise in Java/J2EE technologies

- Thorough understanding of leading data principles, movement, and access patterns

- Strong knowledge of the Java platform including web applications, enterprise applications, web services,

- Strong knowledge of web servers, application servers, thin client development, and enterprise application

- Experience designing and architecting successful complex enterprise solutions
