Senior Manager - Executive Reporting & Insights - Asia IT Function

This role is responsible for executive reporting for the Asia IT function. The role involves harnessing the power of data to get insights, by way of providing leading and lagging methods of reporting. While presentation is an important part, the candidate should be fully conversant or reporting related to technology functions, should be able to think logically and connect the dots. This role will involve supporting all the functions within Asia IT such as Infrastructure, Architecture, Applications and Information Security and steer towards reporting function in the real sense of the word rather than being an aggregator of information.

Major Accountabilities:

The role will be responsible for the direct execution of the following tasks:

- Design, creation and delivery of reports for senior executives and the Asia IT function.

- Craft multi-audience content pieces such as dashboards and scorecards on regular basis to enable identification of opportunities to innovate and improve.

- Support in publication of newsletters, quarterly reports for the function

- Drive data reliability, consistency, and adherence to report structures and timelines

- Uphold and develop standards and processes to ensure that data is being collected, maintained, and modeled in a way that makes its retrieval efficient for analysis

- Support in development/visualization of playbooks as applicable.

- Analyze internal and external data, synthesize raw information into insights, recommendations, dashboards, and reports

- Disseminate key synthesized reports; distill external research to strengthen wider thought leadership and engagement

- Support any ad-hoc reporting requests

- Visualization of reporting and development of self-serve visual analytical tools as applicable

Competencies:

- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required. Masters degree is desirable. Technology background is mandatory.

- Ability to think creatively and provide thoughtful, agile insights

- Ability to develop, automate, visualize, analyze, and communicate

- Ability to create executive level presentations and reports

- Capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

- Strong data analysis skills, particularly using Excel, BI / Tableau

Attitude/Behavior:

- Ability to interact with senior stakeholders and collaborate with internal clients

- Ability to connect the dots to build the story

Education and experience

- A minimum of 12+ years of total experience and relevant experience in Information technology reporting should be 6+ years.

- Experience in insurance domain is preferred

- Ability to multi-task and work well with deadlines

- Experience working in a matrix and cross-cultural environment

- Strong presentation and communication skills, attention to fine details

- Demonstrate ability to make recommendations to the senior management and influence business decisions based on thorough analysis.
