Senior Manager - IT Datacenter Operations

Key Responsibilities:

- Ability and experience of working in highly secure and restrictive enterprise environments.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the datacentre, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure components.

- Implement and maintain best practices for datacenter operations, including server provisioning, virtualization, storage management, and network infrastructure.

- Strong understanding of Window & Linux environment including excellent troubleshootin skill

- Technical knowledge and experience working with IBM P series and Intel X86 hardware platforms.

- Experience of working on VMware and Nutanix Virtualization platform

- Technical knowledge and experience on Storage and Brocade SAN

- Understanding on Datacenter Network Switching, DNS and TCP/IP

- Continuously evaluate and optimize datacenter infrastructure to meet current and future business requirements

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

- Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard datacenter assets and sensitive information

- Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans for datacenter operations.

- Evaluate and conduct POC (Proof of Concept) for new Product/Technologies as per the business requirements. To plan, manage and implement infrastructure projects and upgrades to meet organizations goals

- Establish and maintain incident response plans for server & storage related issues. Lead the resolution of problems and outages, ensuring minimal impact on business operations and provide RCA

- Excellent Documentation, Communication, presentation, interpersonal and leadership Skills

- Lead and mentor a team of datacenter operations professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in [Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

- Proven experience (15+ years) in a senior role overseeing datacenter operations.

- Strong knowledge of Server, Storage, and virtualization platform.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Solid understanding of industry compliance and regulatory requirements.

- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans in a dynamic business environment.
