Senior Manager - IT Applications - BFSI

The position is based in Gurgaon with a reputed Life Insurance Company.

- The jobholder will be responsible for managing the Applications built around the core systems for better control in operational processes and for Customers to interact with companies systems to manage their profile/self service. The jobholder will be responsible for change management and production support for the non-core applications.

- The jobholder will be responsible for the vendor management for the services, resource management (both on roles and off roles), TAT for production support issues and timely deliveries of the projects/initiative taken up by IT as independent initiatives or per business priorities.

- The jobholder should be flexible in working hours in case the need is to support business per requirement.

- The jobholder should have strong knowledge of Insurance industry domain and should be aware of the insurance terms and processes. Knowledge of Life Asia and CORDYS will be an added advantage.

- The jobholder should also be proficient in multiple technical domains, preferably in JAVA and .NET. the jobholder should be hands-on on either of the technologies (JAVA preferred), yet have in depth knowledge of other technology.

- The jobholder will support the IT Applications to ensure that business applications and systems continuously available and are optimally utilized with minimum or no downtime.

- Provide technical and strategic expertise to the team development of the applications roadmap.
