The Company :

Our client is one of the fastest growing consulting set up providing analytics solutions across multiple domains like insurance, banking, healthcare, and retail.

The Role :

Based out of Gurgaon, you will be working closely with senior business management and clients.

While managing a team of 8-10 people you will have to :

- Use historic and current data to understand the client commercial portfolio

- Build predictive models to improve claims performance

- Segment customer base to identify defaults

- Build fraud and risk abuse scorecards

- Optimize the underwriting strategies

- Derive insights from the large amount of data to expand the business portfolio of the client

The Successful Applicant :

- Academic background in statistics/economics/engineering/mathematics from top tier schools like IIMs, IITs, DSE, FMS, XLRI, SPJAIN, MDI, IMT, ISI, ISB, BITs etc.

- A tenured Senior Manager or an experienced manager with team leading experience

- 5+ years of experience in the insurance domain with solid expertise in statistical techniques like claims analytics, customer segmentation etc.

- Prior experience in team management and/or in a client focused environment will be preferred

- Excellent understanding of statistical concepts with hands on knowledge of SAS, R and SQL etc.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and executive presence
