Key Accountabilities: - Lead the conceptualization, development, and execution of innovative solutions aimed at optimizing various stages of the textile and apparel supply chain - Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to identify opportunities for innovation, considering environmental impact, traceability, ethical standards, and efficiency gains. - Conduct thorough research and analysis to evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of integrating new technologies and practices into our supply chain processes. - Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, external partners, and industry stakeholders to exchange insights and integrate innovative practices seamlessly. - Act as a liaison between Cotton Connect and external innovators, research institutions, and technology providers to explore potential collaborations and partnerships. - Define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of innovation initiatives on sustainability goals and operational efficiency. - Regularly analyze and interpret data to assess the performance of implemented innovations, suggesting data-driven actions for continuous improvement. - Develop training programs and materials to educate internal teams and external partners on new innovations and sustainable practices. - Stay informed about relevant regulations and standards for sustainability and innovation in the cotton industry. - Ensure that all innovation initiatives comply with legal and regulatory requirements, working closely with legal and compliance teams as needed - Maintain comprehensive documentation of innovation projects, including methodologies, outcomes, and lessons learned - Prepare regular reports and presentations for leadership, summarizing innovation initiatives' progress, impact, and future plans.
