Job Role Profile:

- Collaborate with Plant Finance, Operations and other teams with an objective of preparing cost quotes (estimates) for new and existing products.

- Estimate cost impact of changes in the bill of materials and/or in the manufacturing process. Assist the Plant Finance team in calculating and maintaining the standard cost of finished and semi-finished products in the Company's ERP (SAP).

- Execute routine and non-routine updation of standard cost of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.

- Conduct analysis of deviations between actual and standard costs: price, rate, usage, yield, underutilization of plant assets, etc.

- Participate in defining action plans to mitigate risks, reduce deviations and/or implement operational improvements.

- Implementation of product-customer profitability reports in SAP and their maintenance & Product Costing. Assist the Plant Finance team in continuously improving the costing process, reviewing the applied criteria, and improving the accuracy of standard and actual costs by SKU. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget. Monitoring and explaining deviations of actual results versus budget. Preparing ad hoc cost and profitability analysis as required by the Management Team.

- Inventory Controlling. Conduct inventory reserve analysis monthly and generate reports for senior management. Assisting in month end -year end closings. Providing support for Statutory Audit, Cost Audit.

Candidate Profile:

- The ideal candidate will be a qualified Cost and Management Accountant (ICWA/CMA) with a minimum of 10 years of total experience of which, at least 7 - 8 years of cost analysis experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.

- Experience in a pharma manufacturing environment will surely be a significant advantage.

- The candidate will need to be well versed with advanced Ms-Excel skills and prior experience of working in a SAP / SAP FICO system will be an advantage.

- Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures.
